Remote Assistance

Compufixit uses Zoho Assist for remote connection access. The process to connect takes a minute. The file downloaded is secure and can be removed with ease after the remote session is done.

You need to have a working Internet Connection for us to be able to help remotely!

No remote session can happen without the Client’s permission, so rest assured that no one will go into your computer without your consent.

To connect:

  • Wait until the Compufixit Partner indicates they are ready to receive a connection or ready to send an email to connect.
  • Provide the Compufixit Partner with your email address.
  • You will receive an address with a unique link to connect – click on the link to continue.
  • Download the connector file and run it.
  • Grant access to the Compufixit Partner waiting to connect with you.
 

Charges:

  • Remote sessions will be charged in 30-minute increments.
  • Compufixit will send an invoice to the email address on record.
  • You will be provided with a verbal estimate.
  • You can stop work at any time – the clock will stop at the next 30-minute increment.
  • Agreement to connect signifies agreement to perform work and agreement to pay charges invoiced.
